BMFAC (Birendra Memorial Fine Art and Culture) is envisioned as a non-profit organization and is dedicated to promoting and preserving art, culture, and heritage in memory of Deshapran Birendranath Sasmal, a freedom fighter of India who fought for the freedom of India . There is no limit to the area of fine arts that an NGO can concentrate on, which includes visual arts, music, dance, literature, and traditional crafts, among other things. Among its primary missions could be the nurturing of creativity, providing a platform for aspiring artists, and promoting cultural exchange between nations.
Further, BMFAC may collaborate with other NGOs, governmental agencies, and international organizations in order to raise awareness about the importance of preserving cultural heritage and fostering artistic expression through the cooperation of various organizations. Through the use of art and culture as a means of fostering social empowerment and cohesion within communities, it could contribute to community development.
